Response #1

Lost music

My stiff fingers slide
over the forgotten fret,
and the chill will pass.

Lighten Up

I fret as I light
the fireplace to chase away
the chill in my room.

Fret not Little One,
I’ll play until you’re asleep.

  1. Carolyn, I love all three entries for this week’s Haiku challenge! I thought about using the fret of a guitar as a starting point as well but couldn’t come up with a good haiku for it. 🙂
